Our Dear Precious Children

 We know in our hearts you are always hungry,

We know right now you are never satisfied,

But please hold on to the hope that,

We are doing our very best,

To help find a cure for your hunger!

Walk on through the wind,

Walk on through the rain,

And hold your head up high.

When we have to protect you with locks,

And watch you every minute of each day,

Please know it’s because those who love you,

Want you, our precious children, to live.

Walk on, walk on, with hope in your heart,

Hold your head up high,

From those who don’t understand.

Hold in your heart,

That those who hold you so dear,

Want to take your hurt and hunger away.

So that maybe ….someday…..

We can let you go,

And let you fly free…free as a butterfly.

But until then, our precious children,

Hold onto our hand,

And know you’ll never walk alone.

Let me fly as free as a butterfly.

Hold me tight, I'm hungry.

I sing with hope in my heart.

I can't wake up to be fed. I hope mommy wakes me soon.
