Lose-A-Thon
Join us for our 4th Annual Lose-A-Thon, which runs from January
1, 2009
to May 31, 2009. Inspired by our loved ones
and friends with PWS and their daily determination to maintain
healthy eating and fitness routines, Lose-A-Thon was created as
a motivator to lose weight and lead a healthier life. At the
same time, Lose-A-Thon raises funds for PWSA (USA) to promote
research and provide resources and support for every person
affected by PWS.
How It Works
You choose your own fitness and weight loss goals and methods.
Then send letters to your closest family and friends telling
them what you plan to do and ask them to sponsor you. It’s easy
to get started because PWSA (USA) has done most of the work for
you, like creating a sample letter you can use and providing
exciting new features to help you along the way. Participants
sign up from all over the country and even other countries!
